Do you wear your seat belt?  Statistics show that nearly 10,000 lives are saved each year by seat belts.   The Burley High School Student Council recently presented videos and statistics to all Burley High  Students about the importance of seat belt safety.  The videos they created can be seen here.  Enjoy!

After seeing hoards of children roam my street I found it necessary to turn off our halloween lights, lock up the house, and get out for something fun.  I decided to go to the 9 p.m. opening night showing of Dracula at the King Fine Arts Center. On Thursday, October 15th, 2009 The Weekly News Journal published an article entitled “What People Earn”. The article outlines public employee salaries in the Mini-Cassia area which included city employees, all school employees, Minidoka hospital employees, and numerous other organizations. The article highlighted the top 10 salaries in both counties, and had numerous quotes from the likes of Thomas Jefferson and Aristotle.
