The Burley High School varsity soccer team won in the district tournament today at Wood River. The score was 3- 0. Despite cold temperatures, enthusiasm was high. Saul Esquivel scored in the first half for Burley. In the second half Logan Searle scored on a kick that bounced over the goalie’s head. Caesar Mendoza sealed the game with a spectacular bicycle kick goal. Wood River was held scoreless in a very physical match. They were awarded an indirect kick inside the 18.
