William Hugh Tracy, age 80, of Almo, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, after a long battle with cancer.
Bill was born Dec. 27, 1929, in Almo, Idaho. He attended Almo Elementary and high school in Malta and Albion. After graduation he joined the United States Navy and served six years in the Naval Reserves. He was a rancher all his life and loved every minute of it.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Pettingill Tracy; six children, Kevin (Trudy) Tracy, Dianne (Steve) Hurd, Lori (Tim) Thompson, Ted (Bonnie) Tracy, Craig (Cynthia) Tracy and Kenna (Chris) Hulka; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Curtis Larry Tracy; and two sisters, Donna Jo Zollinger and Bonita Lloyd.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ottella Tracy; and two brothers, Glen E. Tracy and Bert F. Tracy.
In lieu of flowers we suggest donations to Primary Children’s Medical Center.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, at the Almo LDS Church. Burial will be in the Sunny Cedar Rest Cemetery.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Almo LDS Church from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and again on Thursday from noon until 12:45 p.m.
